Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University (SRMU) is a multidisciplinary private university established in 2012 by the Uttar Pradesh State Legislature (UP Act No. 1 of 2012) and located on Lucknow-Deva Road, Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, about 25 km from Lucknow. Accredited with NAAC Grade B+ (CGPA 2.73) and recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Sections 2(f) and 22 of the UGC Act, SRMU is also approved by AIU, BCI, PCI and NCTE, making it one of the most credentialed private universities in the Lucknow region.
