Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Lucknow (IHM Lucknow) is one of India’s most reputed government-recognized hospitality institutes, functioning under the joint aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1969 as a Food Craft Institute and upgraded to an Institute of Hotel Management in 1980, the institute is affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Noida — the apex body for hospitality education in India. Its degrees are awarded through NCHMCT’s academic partner university, giving its qualifications national recognition and strong industry acceptance.
Located in Sector-G, Aliganj, Lucknow, IHM Lucknow offers career-focused programmes including the flagship 3-year B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, a 2-year M.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, diplomas in Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, Bakery & Confectionery and Front Office, a Post Graduate Diploma in Accommodation Operations & Management, and craftsmanship certificate courses.
