Future University, Bareilly, is a UGC-recognized State Private University established under the Uttar Pradesh Private Universities (Third Amendment) Act, 2024. Built on the two-decade academic legacy of the Future Group of Institutions (founded in 2001), the university carries forward a strong tradition of industry-oriented education, skill development, and research-driven learning in the Rohilkhand region of Uttar Pradesh.

The university is approved by UGC under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, and its professional programs are recognized by leading statutory bodies including AICTE, NCTE, PCI, and BCI.
