Gautam Buddha University (GBU), Greater Noida is a prestigious state government university established under the Uttar Pradesh Gautam Buddha University Act, 2002, and commenced its academic journey in August 2008. Recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Sections 2(f) and 12-B and accredited with NAAC ‘B+’ Grade, the university is fully funded by NOIDA and GNIDA, making quality higher education remarkably affordable. Nestled on a sprawling 511-acre eco-friendly campus in Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR, GBU is a fully residential university known for its serene, world-class infrastructure inspired by Buddhist architecture.

- NIRF 2025 (2023-24 batch): UG 4-year programmes recorded a median package of ₹4 LPA with 200 of 284 graduates placed; UG 5-year programmes saw a median of ₹3.75 LPA (61 placed of 116).
- PG placements (NIRF 2025): PG 2-year courses reported a median package of ₹4 LPA, while UG 3-year programmes recorded a median of ₹3 LPA.
- Placement season 2022-23: 78 companies visited the campus, 220+ students were placed, with the highest package of ₹51 LPA and an average of ₹4.5 LPA.
- School of Management: Consistently 75%+ placements over the last three years with the highest package of ₹12 LPA and an average of ₹5 LPA.
- School of ICT: Average package of ₹4 LPA in 2025, with top performers in CSE/IT streams earning between ₹12–20 LPA.
