Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a NAAC A++ accredited university with a 3.68/4 score and UGC Category-I Graded Autonomy, situated on a single integrated campus in Chaheru, Phagwara, Punjab. Established in 2005, the university is recognised by UGC under Section 12B and holds professional approvals from NCTE, PCI, COA and BCI. LPU offers more than 150 programmes across engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, management, commerce, pharmacy, law, agriculture, architecture, design, media, hospitality, education, humanities, and health and applied sciences.

- Placement scale: More than 2,225 recruiters have hired LPU students, with over 6,000 offers reported from Fortune 500 companies.
- High-value placements: In the combined Class of 2025 and 2026 placement cycle, 2,236 students received offers of ₹10 lakh or above.
- Highest package: The highest package reported for the 2025/26 cycle reached ₹2.5 crore per annum.
- Average packages: The average salary of the top 25% placed students is reported at ₹10.23 LPA, while the top 10% of the 2026 batch averaged approximately ₹12.20 LPA.
- Leading packages: Students received offers of around ₹58 LPA from Google, ₹53 LPA from Microsoft, ₹48.64 LPA from Amazon and up to ₹47.61 LPA from ServiceNow.
- Major recruiters: Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, IBM, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Adobe, JP Morgan, BNY, Federal Bank, Samsung, Bosch, HCL, Trident and numerous product-based technology firms.
- Placement volume: Accenture made 805 offers, Capgemini made 578 offers and Cognizant made 263 offers in the latest reported cycle.
- Programme-level outcomes: The university reports placement rates of approximately 90–95% among interested and eligible CSE/IT and MBA students.
- International opportunities: Students have received placements and internships in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Japan, the Middle East and other international markets.
- Placement training: The Centre for Professional Enhancement provides technical, aptitude and soft-skill training through mock interviews, group discussions, industry assessments and resume-building programmes.
